Kitto Community Guidelines

Safety and respect for all

Our Community Guidelines were created to ensure that every experience is safe, respectful, and positive.

Everyone with an Uber account across all our apps, including but not limited to drivers, passengers, couriers, Kitto users, vendors and JUMP users, is expected to follow the rules.

Treat everyone with respect

The rules in this section help to encourage positive interactions during each experience in our community of people from diverse backgrounds.

Ensure each other's safety

Our team works every day to create safer experiences for everyone. That's why these standards were created.

Comply with the law

We are committed to ensuring compliance with the law. We expect everyone who uses our apps to do their part and adhere to applicable laws.

Your feedback is important to us

We make it easy for you to share your experiences with us, good or bad. Our team is constantly improving our standards and your feedback is crucial to ensure that we take the right steps in this process and that our standards keep pace as our technology evolves.

Getting help

If you want to report an accident, contact us by visiting help.kitto.com or through the app. If you are in a dangerous situation that needs immediate attention, contact the authorities in your city before Kitto.

How does the scoring work?

A high rating means you are doing your job very well. If your rating is much lower than average, you may temporarily or permanently lose access to the app. If you lose access to your account because of your rating, we may share information with you that can help you improve your rating.

How do our rules concern you?

Kitto reviews all reports submitted to our support team that may violate our Community Guidelines. Reviews may be conducted by a specialized team. Your account may be deactivated until the review is complete. If you do not follow our rules, you may lose access to your Kitto accounts.

This page is a resource to summarize the KittoCommunity Code. To read our Community Guidelines in detail, go here for Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa and here for the Middle East and North Africa.

If you don’t follow our Community Guidelines, you may lose access to your Kitto accounts. This includes your non-app actions that we determine threaten the safety of the Uber community, our employees and entrepreneurs, or that harm Kitto’s brand value, reputation, or business.
