Kitto Community Guidelines

Treat everyone with respect

We believe that everyone should feel supported and welcome. That's why we have set standards for physical contact, personal space and privacy, threats and rude behavior, unwanted physical contact, discrimination and property damage.

Physical contact

Do not touch strangers or people you have just met while using any Kitto app. It is forbidden to harm or intend to harm a person.

Personal space and privacy

We all value our personal space and privacy. It is okay to chat with others. However, please do not comment on their appearance or ask if they are single.

Personal space and privacy must be respected. The list below gives some examples of inappropriate behavior, but it is not exhaustive. Behavior and comments that make people feel uncomfortable are unacceptable. Examples include elbow nudging, whistling and winking. Do not engage in physical contact or flirt with people you do not know. Some conversations that you think are harmless may be disturbing. Do not comment on people's appearance. Do not ask personal questions such as "Are you in a relationship?". Avoid talking about your or someone else's personal life or using foul language. When using Kitto apps, physical actions are prohibited during travel or delivery. Even if you know the other person or have their explicit consent.

Threatening and rude behavior

Aggressive, offensive or harassing behavior is not permitted. Do not use words or engage in behavior that may be disrespectful, threatening or inappropriate. It is a good idea to avoid personal topics that may be discriminatory, such as religion or political views.

Be friendly and relaxed in conversation with drivers and fellow passengers. Do not ask personal questions or engage in aggressive behavior towards others.

Be friendly and relaxed in conversation with Kitto users, passengers, vendors and each other. Do not ask personal questions or engage in aggressive behavior towards others.

Unsolicited communication

When the journey or delivery ends, communication must also end, except in the case of returning a lost item or by mutual consent. For example, it is not permitted to contact a person by text message, call, social media, visit or attempt to meet one-on-one after the journey or delivery has ended.

Notify Kitto immediately if a driver contacts you without mutual consent for any other reason not related to your current journey, delivery or return of a lost item.

You must immediately notify Kitto if a Kitto user, passenger or seller contacts you without mutual consent for any other reason not related to your current journey, delivery or return of a lost item.

Discrimination

You should always feel safe and comfortable. That is why we do not tolerate behavior that we believe may be discriminatory. Do not discriminate against others based on their age, skin color, disability, gender identity, marital status, pregnancy or maternity status, national origin, appearance, race, religion or belief, political opinion, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. It is also not acceptable to award points based on these characteristics to another user, such as a Kitto user, courier, driver, seller or passenger.

If you believe that your ride call or delivery request has been rejected due to your legally protected characteristics, please let us know in the Kitto app.

Property damage and lockout

Damage to property is never permitted. Examples of damage to property include damaging or altering a vehicle, bicycle, moped, scooter or other mode of transportation called for from the Kitto apps; breaking or destroying a phone or tablet; intentionally spilling food or drink; smoking in a vehicle; or vomiting due to excessive alcohol consumption or for other reasons. If you damage the property, you will be responsible for the cost of cleaning and repair beyond normal wear and tear.

If you rent bicycles, mopeds or scooters through Kitto apps, you are responsible for locking them securely at the end of the journey. Failure to lock them properly may result in additional charges.
